This article presents the very first critical editing of the “Nou-Ayin e John Horace Ford” by Rustam Ali Bijnori.This ‘qissa’ was penned down in 1786 A.D for presenting to an East India Company’s army Slide Tray officer John Horace Ford.
A manuscript of abovesaid qissa is kept in the Middle Eastern Manuscript section of Special Collections at the University of Melbourne, Australia.Alongwith critical editing, a brief biographical introduction of the author, linguistic and stylistic analysis of the text and a Heat Sink glossary are also included in this article.
